Caught on video – Small twister tosses trampoline & bouncer

Posted on Oct 20, 2014 SAO PAULO, BRAZIL — Caught on video – a small twister totally upsets a Brazilian Children’s Day celebration and injures a young boy. Known as a ‘dust devil’, the mini but strong wind draft easily lifted an inflatable bouncer, and flipped a trampoline over then tossed it aside like it was a lawn chair.  Many in attendance had their cellphones recording – the video shows several angles from the party that was being held in western Sao Paulo’s Panorama City. According to 9NEWS AUSTRALIA, the injured boy is expected to be okay. Freak Accident: California birthday party boy – shocked!

Posted on Oct 12, 2014 While a friend and he were just taking a picture – it happened. 9-year old Elijah Belden “apparently touched a metal patio cover support that had stringing lights and had somehow become electrified”, according  to the NBC San Diego news coverage. “A family friend rushed to Elijah’s side to perform CPR moments after he was shocked.” From the Facebook community page “Today marks one week that sweet Elijah was admitted into the hospital. We are all very anxious to see him awake and it should hopefully be soon. The doctors are taking things slowly knowing this is what is best for our sweet boy. His parents have been incredibly strong throughout this whole process and I know it has a lot to do with the amount of prayers and support they have been receiving from the community. As anyone can only imagine, this is the hardest thing they’ve ever been thru and it’s only natural for it to start to take a toll on them. Please pray for strength and peace specifically for Tony and Aly during this time. Bounce house rentals grow in popularity – so does the number of kids injured in them

Posted on Oct 6, 2014 As this video from Channel 5 in West Palm Beach, Florida reports, growing along-side Florida bounce house popularity – is the number of kids being injured in them. One child is injured every 45 minutes in the United States while playing in a bounce house – that’s more than 30 children a day! Most are children 5-years old or younger with minor injuries like bumps and bruises to more serious injuries like broken bones, even concussions. Although experts in safety will recommend only allowing one child to play in an inflatable bouncer at a time, the instructions on most units allow for multiple kids to play, but advise that the children should be of similar sizes, at least 6 years old, and should always have adult supervision. House of Bounce bouncing back after a fire claim

Posted on Dec 4, 2013 JOPLIN, MO. – After a total loss by fire in June, House of Bounce is bouncing back bigger and better than ever. How would the headlines read if this were your business? Do you have property coverage? The House of Bounce demolition and rebuilding plans are now underway. From Main Street, you can see the framework of the House of Bounce and construction equipment on site. Owner say they always planned to rebuild not only because they wanted to, but for so many kids who want the chance to bounce again. “It was always our intent to have something to rebuild to. It may not have been in the same capacity.
